As the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Infrastructure and Chief Technical
Officer for the University of North Texas System, Christopher is responsible for strategy,
tactics and operations of all aspects of enterprise infrastructure services including,
but not limited to, public/private cloud, data center operations, compute and storage,
networking, telephony, and identity and access management services utilized by all
UNT System institutions.
Christopher works with leaders across the UNT System and its members institutions
to provide architecture and strategic planning guidance to build, deploy and manage
effective technology solutions to meet the needs of students and faculty in support
of UNT System and its member institutions’ mission and strategic goals.
He is also responsible for providing the highest levels of uptime for technology systems
while ensuring the helpdesks are responsive and supportive. Christopher collaborates
with the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer on annual
budgeting for IT needs, manages IT assets and services across the UNT System.
