Steve is a veteran marketing and communications executive who most recently served
as Associate Vice Chancellor for Marketing and Communications at The Texas A&M University
System. He has two degrees from Texas A&M, a BBA in Marketing, and an MBA in Finance.
He served in roles with the Coca-Cola Company from major retail account management
to worldwide brand manager of Coca-Cola and finally, VP of Worldwide Sports for both
the Olympics and World Cup. At International Management Group (IMG) he led a team
that executed the marketing research planning and sales of 60 sales in the redevelopment
of iconic Wembley National Stadium. At Texas A&M University he served as CCMO under
President Gates from 2006 and later accepted the role of Vice Chancellor of Marketing
for the Texas A&M System in 2012. He led the strategic planning for the move from
the Big 12 to the SEC.
He has four children, six grandchildren and resides in McKinney, Texas.
